Working Bee Day

Great results from the working bee.
All the jobs were started and most completed. The gutters were cleaned and refitted. The drain tubbes were looked at but decided to redesign the system at a later date. Thanks to John Spronk and Adam Stott. The pipe was connected between the two rain water tanks and burried. Thanks to John Ridge and Dave Collins. Weeds were chipped, pulled and mown. Thanks to Alan Wilson, John Spronk and David Pietsch. Andrew Wright gave the tug a good clean on Friday, edged the lawn and cleaned the Office, briefing room and the Clubhouse. They look fantastic. John Spronk and I sprayed the Gazanias on the North and East strips using both spray units. The bathrooms look spotless thanks to Adam and the shelving units are in the new store room thanks to Dave Collins and Alan Wilson. And Mark Morgan refitted lights in the Igloo hangar. David Pietsch will source extension tubes for the gas bottle connections and finally John Ridge and I finished the annual for the K21. A fantastic effort and pleasing to see most jobs started and completed. See you next weekend when we get to go flying!
