South Australian state competition Day 2

The day looked like being less than yesterday and the pilots were given the option to have a task or not.
A temp trace proved an inversion sitting over Waikerie and with expected temperatures would only provide a day of difficult conditions up to 4500ft. Rasp and SSU were more optimistic.
A 2 hour AAT  task was set WKI Nottswell Allawoona Woolpunda and home. First launch 1pm; after a couple of snifer flights  reported 3000 then 3500ft, club class was away – Standard had the original task and Open 18M was modified to 1.5 hours. In the end the day was ok with good climbs to 4200 and for those that persevered up to 5000 on several occasions. Result on line at http://sagastatechampionships.blogspot.com.au/
