The 2006 South Australian State Gliding Championships were held at Waikerie, Saturday 25 - Tuesday 28 February 2006. Waikerie Gliding Club, with the support of SAGA, hosted the competition. It was a "fun" competition, run in association with Waikerie Members Week.

This was a multiclass competition, with water ballast allowed. All scoring was done with data loggers. The handicaps and some other competition data are on the comp details page.
