This summer, two SA State Gliding Competitions are available. Both are proudly hosted by Waikerie Gliding Club.
- 17-21 November 2010.
This comp has been flown. Terry Cubley is the winner, with Peter Temple second and Craig Vinall third. Well done all!
- 2-8 January 2011.
This comp has been flown. Graeme Parker is the winner, with Craig Vinall second and Grant Hudson third. Full results on Soaring Spot.
Colin Stauss won the Most Meritorious Flight award: as a junior pilot, he came fourth overall and won day 3.
Competition Requirements for each Pilot: (same for both comps)
- $1,000,000.00 Third Party Liability Insurance including GFA Insurance Clause
- Current Competitors Licence
- Current GFA Membership Card
- Evidence of Current Annual Check Flight
- VHF Radio Frequencies 122.5, 122.7, 122.9 & 126.7
